The Northern Ireland development agency is a non departmental public body (NDPB) of the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Investment (DETI) supporting new and existing business growth as well as innovation, inward investment and exports.

American Wind Energy Association (AWEA)
The US trade association represents wind power development projects, equiptment suppliers, service providers, parts manufacturers, utilities, researchers and others involved in the wind industry. In addition, it represents hundreds of wind energy advocates from around the world.

European Wind Energy Association (EWEA)
The European trade associations, promotes the utilisation of wind power worldwide. Based at Renewable Energy House in Brussels, it is close to decision makers, has over 600 members from nearly 60 countries and has a 90 per cent share of the global wind power market.

The Danish Wind Industry Association (DWIA)
A non-profit association to promote wind energy in Denmark and abroad, representing 99.9 per cent of Danish wind turbine manufacturing measured in MW with more than 200 wind sector companies active in the country.
